The NVIDIA Mellanox MSX6036F-2SFS is a managed 56Gb/s FDR InfiniBand switch with 36 QSFP ports in 1U, built on the SwitchX-2 chip. It runs its own subnet manager for fabrics of up to 648 nodes, so it can run an FDR cluster without a separate management server.

Choose the SX6036 when you need a managed FDR switch for an HPC cluster, lab or storage network, or a drop-in replacement in an existing FDR fabric. It connects to ConnectX-3 FDR adapters and also works with older QDR 40Gb/s equipment. This version has two power supplies for redundancy, standard depth, and back-to-front (P2C) airflow.
