The Cisco N9K-C9332C is a 1RU fixed spine switch with 32x 40/100GB QSFP28 ports and 2x 1/10GB SFP+ ports. Cisco positions it as an ACI spine, and it also runs in NX-OS mode, giving smaller fabrics a compact spine without a modular chassis.
Cisco lists 6.4 Tbps of switching capacity, 4.4 Bpps, a 40MB buffer, a 4-core Broadwell-DE CPU, 16GB of DRAM, a 128GB SSD, and a 92,000-entry MAC table. The last eight QSFP28 ports support MACsec. Management connections include a 10/100/1000 RJ45 port, a 1GB SFP port, an RS-232 console, and a USB port. It uses five hot-swap fans and redundant power supplies. This unit is configured for back-to-front airflow (port-side exhaust).
Supported power supplies include 750W and 1100W AC units plus 1100W DC and HVAC/HVDC options, each in port-side intake and port-side exhaust versions. Cisco notes that power supply redundancy does not apply on 100 to 120V input.
