HPE J9983A 1820 Series switch by Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a fixed‑configuration Gigabit Ethernet switch with 24 x 1 Gb RJ45 PoE+ ports and 2 x 1 Gb SFP uplink interfaces. It supports up to 52 Gbps switching capacity and standard 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission rates.
The unit provides a 185 W PoE power budget for connected devices such as access points, IP phones, and cameras. It supports rack or desktop mounting and operates with unmanaged or web‑managed configuration options. The 24 port layout allows distribution of power and data across edge devices while maintaining separate fiber uplinks through SFP slots.
HPE J9983A: 12 RJ45 autosensing 10/100/1000 PoE+ ports, 12 RJ45 autosensing 10/100/1000 ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports for uplink. An internal AC power supply features on this switch and a power cord is included when shipped.
