The Alcatel-Lucent OS6850E-U24X is a rack-mountable switch featuring 22x 1 Gigabit SFP ports, 2x 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink ports, and 2x combo CX-4/stacking interfaces. Manufactured by Alcatel-Lucent, it supports a forwarding rate of up to 95.3 Mpps.

This model supports the optional OS6-XNI-U2 module for two additional SFP+ interfaces via rear stacking cages connected through CX-4 ports; this module is not included. The unit operates on AC power and uses fixed internal cooling fans with front-to-back airflow constraints depending on deployment orientation. All Ethernet port slots are located on the front panel to facilitate standard data center or telecom cabinet installation.
