The HPE Aruba R7J39A AP-655 (US) is a tri-radio wireless access point from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It features an internal antenna, Wi-Fi 6E (IEEE 802.11ax) standard, and supports transmission across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and newly available 6 GHz bands with a maximum data rate of up to 4.8 Gbps on the 6 GHz band.
Designed for campus deployments within the US regulatory domain, this unit offers integrated mounting options suitable for ceilings or walls. The device can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), eliminating dedicated AC power requirements when connected to compatible switches or injectors supporting IEEE standards like PoE+. Its interface includes multigigabit Ethernet connectivity for high-throughput applications across dense client environments where multiple radios are in operation concurrently per frequency band used by modern networks.
