Overview

The Cisco UCSC-BBLKD-S2 is a drive bay backplane manufactured by Cisco for the UCS C-Series M5 Small Form Factor servers. It supports 2.5-inch drives and provides SAS/SATA interface connectivity with transmission speeds up to 12 Gb/s.

This component is compatible with specific models in the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) family, particularly those designed for SFF configurations in rack-mountable chassis. The unit enables connection of two hot-swappable SATA or SAS hard drives through internal ports linked to RAID controller modules via miniSAS HD connectors.
