Start with how the access points will be managed: by a Catalyst 9800 controller, by an embedded controller on an EWC model, or by the Meraki dashboard for CW916x models listed as Meraki. Then choose the Wi-Fi generation and the model by user density and coverage area. Check the antenna arrangement of the exact model: many models come in internal and external antenna versions, and wall-plate models such as the 9105AXW have integrated antennas. The listing states whether external antennas are included. The part number also carries a regulatory domain code (for example, -B for the United States), and the model must be approved for the country where it will be installed. Check the PoE power your switches provide, and whether the listing includes a mount.
