Cisco Meraki C9300-NM-2Y-M Catalyst 9300-M 2x 25GB SFP28 Switch Module

The Cisco Meraki C9300-NM-2Y-M is an uplink network module with two SFP28 ports that run at 1, 10, or 25 Gigabit. It installs in the network module slot of a Catalyst 9300-M switch managed from the Meraki Dashboard and gives the switch two fiber or twinax uplinks to the core.

The module is hot-swappable, so it can be added or replaced without powering down the switch. Optics and direct attach cables are sold separately. Meraki lists CS 16.7 as the minimum switch firmware for the C9300-24S-M and C9300-48S-M and CS 16.8 for the other 9300-M models. It does not fit the 9300L-M or the 9300X-M.

Twenty-five Gigabit uplinks give a 48-port Multigigabit closet more headroom than 10 Gigabit while using the same SFP-style cabling, and the ports fall back to 10 Gigabit where the core is not yet on 25. The module draws power from the switch, and its ports are configured in the Dashboard like any other port.
