The Cisco Meraki C9300-48U-M is a 1U Catalyst 9300-M switch managed from the Meraki Dashboard. It has 48 Gigabit RJ-45 ports with UPoE, and its uplinks come from one network module slot, so the same switch can uplink at 1, 10, 25, or 40 Gigabit depending on the module you install. Switching capacity is 256 Gbps with a 190.48 Mpps forwarding rate.
The default power supply is the PWR-C1-1100WAC-P-M, which gives an 822W PoE budget; a second power supply raises it to 1,800W. A second hot-swap power supply slot is available for redundancy or more PoE, and cooling comes from three hot-swap FAN-T2-M fans.
Two dedicated stack ports provide 480 Gbps of stacking bandwidth, and up to eight switches can be managed as one stack with the STACK-T1-50CM-M, STACK-T1-1M-M, or STACK-T1-3M-M cables. StackPower can share power supply capacity across up to four switches using CAB-SPWR-30CM-M or CAB-SPWR-150CM-M cables. UPoE delivers up to 60W per port for high-power access points, lighting, and displays. The chassis is 19.2 inches deep, deeper than the PoE+ models, and weighs 17.0 lb.
A spare PWR-C1-1100WAC-P-M 1100W power supply fits the second slot. For uplinks, the C9300-NM-8X-M 8x 10GB SFP+ module fits, and for PoE+ only, see the C9300-48P-M. The switch is sold unclaimed, and Meraki cloud management requires a license, purchased separately.
