Cisco Meraki C9300-NM-8X-M Catalyst 9300-M 8x 10GB SFP+ Switch Module

The Cisco Meraki C9300-NM-8X-M is an uplink network module with eight SFP+ ports that run at 1 or 10 Gigabit. It installs in the network module slot of a Catalyst 9300-M switch managed from the Meraki Dashboard and gives the switch eight fiber or twinax uplinks to aggregation switches, servers, or other closets.

The module is hot-swappable, so it can be added or replaced without powering down the switch. Optics and direct attach cables are sold separately; use SFP+ modules for 10 Gigabit links and SFP modules for 1 Gigabit links. It does not fit the Catalyst 9300L-M, which has fixed uplinks, or the 9300X-M, which uses its own C9300X modules.

Eight 10 Gigabit uplinks suit closets that run several links back to the core, dual-homed designs, or a small aggregation layer built from 9300-M switches. Fewer ports are needed for a simple branch, and a 25 Gigabit module is the step up where the core supports it.
