Cisco Meraki MA-ANT-3-F6 6 Port Narrow Patch Antenna for MR53E and MR46E

The Cisco Meraki MA-ANT-3-F6 is an indoor dual-band narrow patch antenna with 6 RP-TNC leads, one for each antenna port on a 6-port Meraki external-antenna access point. Gain is 11.2 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 10.8 dBi on 5 GHz, with a narrow 30-degree beam both horizontally and vertically.

A narrow patch concentrates the signal into a tight cone, so one access point can reach far down a long space. Typical uses are warehouse aisles between tall racks, long corridors, and the far end of an arena or auditorium, where a ceiling omni would spread signal into areas that do not need it.

The antenna mounts on a wall or pole with the MA-MNT-ANT-1 standard or MA-MNT-ANT-2 extra-long articulating arm, sold separately, which sets the aim in 5-degree steps. Every port on the access point needs an antenna, so the five-port sets go on the five-port MR42E and the six-port sets on the MR46E and MR53E.
