NEW Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-90WAC 90W AC Power Adapter for MS120-8LP MX65

The Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-90WAC is a 90W external AC power adapter for Meraki desktop devices that supply PoE, listed for the MS120-8LP compact switch and the MX65 security appliance. Output is 54V DC at 1.67A, and input is auto-ranging from 100 to 240 VAC.

The 54V output is what lets these devices power access points, phones, and cameras from their own ports. The MS120-8LP delivers PoE on its eight Gigabit ports, and the MX65 has two PoE+ LAN ports, so a lower-rated or lower-voltage adapter may start the device but leave its PoE ports unpowered.

These devices have no internal power supply, so the adapter is a separate part that can be lost when a unit is moved or fail on its own in the field. A spare adapter brings a small branch or closet back online without replacing the switch or appliance. Plug it into a UPS where the switch powers phones or cameras, so those devices stay up through a short outage.
