NEW Cisco Meraki MS120-48-HW 48x 1GB RJ-45 4x 1GB SFP Unclaimed Switch

The Cisco Meraki MS120-48-HW is a 48-port 1U access switch managed from the Meraki Dashboard. It has 48 Gigabit RJ-45 ports without PoE and four 1 Gigabit SFP uplinks, with 104 Gbps of switching capacity. A dedicated management port gives access to the local status page.

The power supply is fixed and internal, and maximum draw is only 36W. The chassis is 1U, measures 17.32 x 10 x 1.73 inches, weighs 8.97 lb, and mounts in a standard 19-inch rack.

The MS120 series does not stack physically. Virtual stacking in the Dashboard lets you change port settings across many switches at once, so a site with several closets is still run as one network from the cloud. With 48 ports in one rack unit, it suits offices, labs, and classrooms full of wired desktops, printers, and other devices that need data but no PoE.

If the closet also feeds phones or access points, the MS120-48LP-HW with 370W PoE+ and the MS120-48FP-HW with 740W PoE+ are the PoE versions. For 10 Gigabit uplinks, see the MS125-48-HW. The switch is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
