Cisco MT10-HW Meraki Cloud-Managed Indoor Temperature and Humidity Sensor

The Cisco Meraki MT10-HW is a cloud-managed indoor temperature and humidity sensor. It measures temperature from 0 to 55C (32 to 131F) with an accuracy of 0.3C, and relative humidity from 0 to 95% with an accuracy of 2.5%. It carries UL 2905 certification.

The sensor has no network port. It talks over Bluetooth Low Energy to a nearby Meraki MV camera or MR access point, which acts as its gateway to the Meraki Dashboard. It takes readings every two minutes, reports every 20 minutes, and reports at once when a threshold is crossed, so the Dashboard can send alerts for a hot closet or a humid storeroom.

Two AA batteries give up to five years of life. The box includes a backplate, a mounting magnet, 3M tape, two screws, and two drywall anchors, for mounting on a rack, wall, or cabinet. The unit is 4.6 by 2.6 inches and 1.0 inch deep and weighs 0.2 lb without batteries. The sensor is sold unclaimed; a Meraki MT license is required, purchased separately.
